ParadisePoker Tour - part 2

Firstly, I apologize for the late update. Now lets continue the story =)

After the first tourney I was very tired and slept almost all day. In the afternoon Shpoka called me and after that our group went to the beach. We spent there 1-2 hours and then we were hit by a tropic hurricane lol. We somehow ran through half the town without getting drowned, but we were keeping up our spirits. Later we met with the others from the site and went to the ParadisePoker Party. It was very well organized but the party isn't party at all with poker players only, so I kinda missed the Sunny Beach discos ;D.

In the next day I woke up normally at about 12 o'clock (just in time for the tournament which was in 2 p.m.) 30mins before the start our team was already in the casino, relaxing before taking our seats. The tourney started with a small delay, but it's normal for a tournament with more than 200 players. It was just great atmosphere as you can see on the picture:

Starting stack was 10k, levels were for 40mins until the first break and 60 after that. I quickly built up to 12k with my aggression and then I saw AA from SB. CO opened for 300 at 50/100, I reised to 800, BB called and CO made it 2750. I was extremely happy, but I knew I couldn't get anything more. If me and BB both see a flop, I'd be in 3-way pot commited with my hand, so calling was not a option. I thought to make them 5500, but wasn't sure if that's too fishy, so finally I pushed and the both folded, CO showing AKo. I was up to 15k just an hour after the start.

I continued with the nice run and after I sent Peshev back home (QQ>AK), my stack was 20k+. I made it 22 and they put some aggro scandinavian on my left. For something like 3 hours I fell to 17k because of this guy. He was reising, floating, 3betting, everything you can think of. At 200/400 I opened A5 from CO for 1k and he called from BTN. Flop came K76hh, I checked, he bet 1300 and I reised to 4800. He insta reised putting me all-in and I folded with 11k left. Than I folded until he was moved to another table. I was insanely happy with 9k left and no one one my left :D. I was folding a couple of hands to get some image and again started to pressure the table like in the first levels. I opened J7s from LP, SB and BB both called. I thought that they are weak players with SB limp/folding too much. Flop came K73 we checked, random 4 on the turn. BB bet half the pot, I called, sb folded. River was Q and BB bet the pot. I was kinda surprised of the huge bet, so I took a lot to think. I decided that he missed something or just trying to take the pot with some ace. I called and BB showed KQ... apf, nice read, yeah... I was with ~4k left. Couldn't find a good spot to push for the next 20-30 hands and finally at the new table I pushed from utg and 1,6k left. J9s weren't good vs 77 and A9 and I finished 124th. Once again complete failure in such an event. At least one of the guys I invested in became 9th, so he made me some profit.

We spent the next day relaxing in the hotel swimming pool and shouting for our players at the final table. I tried also the cash tables - have been doing really well at first, 20 mins after I sat down the finnish guys all stood up with what was left from their stacks. Unfortunately, I lost it later vs some jewish suckers but that's poker, you know. On the next day we had to leave, since there werent' any free rooms and we couldn't lengthen our stay. We had really nice time and I really enjoyed our 'business trip'. And what can I say about the "Не се сърди човече" game on the way home :D We were all inspired by some 7-year-old boy, who completely made my day :D.

And in the end the lesson I finally learned - I decided not to play so big tourneys till the end of the year. I'm gonna take part at the EMOP Side Event next week and some similar tourneys with smaller buy-in later in the year. I think that's the best alternative. And till then - back to grinding micro sngs ;D
